ADAIYALAM
CHENNAI'S MENTAL HEALTH FEST
Adaiyalam is more than a festival — it’s a homecoming. Rooted in Tamil identity and collective care, Adaiyalam is a first-of-its-kind mental health gathering in Chennai that invites youth, therapists, artists, educators, and communities to explore the intersections of healing, culture, and expression. Through storytelling, art, movement, and dialogue, the festival holds space for voices often silenced — reclaiming what was always ours: the wisdom to feel, to connect, and to care. Whether you come to listen, to share, or simply to be, Adaiyalam reminds us that mental health is not just personal — it is cultural, communal, and deeply human.

Day 2 - 6th July 2025
Day 2 of Adaiyalam transforms the venue into a vibrant, immersive mental health and identity marketplace — a first-of-its-kind space where care, culture, and curiosity meet.

With 20+ mental health organizations from across India will set up interactive stalls, offering a unique chance to:
-
Explore diverse therapeutic modalities and healing practices
-
Interact with mental health professionals and wellness advocates
-
Access resources, tools, and opportunities for therapy, training, and internships
-
Experience mental health in regional languages and local cultural contexts
-
Discover inclusive, queer-affirmative, and neurodivergent-friendly care services
-
Learn about support groups, helplines, and affordable service providers

The stalls will be interactive and participatory — featuring games, activity corners, art therapy demos, and sensory spaces.
Alongside the stalls, guided self-reflection corners rooted in identity, expression, and emotional resilience.
This is not your typical exhibition — it’s a cultural reclamation of mental health. A space to listen, learn, heal, and most importantly — belong.
Walk-in on day 2 is allowed but we'd encourage you to register in advance!
It is the same registration link for both days.
