Voices Beyond Normal:
Listening to What Was Silenced
Heal with Airaanah
A music therapy experience exploring how ideas of “normality” shape identity, expression, and belonging. Through voice, breath, rhythm, lyric reflection, and collective sound-making, participants will engage in a journey of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and shared healing. No musical experience is required—just a willingness to listen, reflect, and connect through sound.

Geriatric Mental Health:
Practical Skills for Dementia Care

An engaging workshop focused on understanding dementia and strengthening practical caregiving skills. Participants will explore common challenges experienced by older adults living with dementia, learn effective communication and support strategies, and gain insights into providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, connection, and quality of life.

Rooted Connections × CHI for Trauma and Well-being

This workshop explores trauma through a broader lens, inviting participants to understand how collective experiences, social contexts, and connections influence healing and wellbeing. Through reflection, discussion, and experiential learning, participants will discover pathways toward healing that extend beyond the individual and foster resilience, belonging, and community care.
